Depression

Depression is an common but very disempowering condition that causes good and sensible people to feel trapped and hopeless. It can prevent us from thinking clearly, making decisions and working out the best way forward in life. At the very moment when we need to feel strong and empowered we feel weak and confused, which only increases our sense of despair and depression. In this way depression can quickly become a vicious circle from which we find it almost impossible to escape. Fortunately depression is nowhere near as bad as it generally feels when we are experiencing it. There are many therapies that can help people experiencing depression and BWRT provides uniquely swift and effective methods for helping people experiencing this condition. The first stage of the process involves clearly identifying all of the many different issues that are making you depressed. Once we both understand what you are depressed about, and what specific thoughts and feelings are triggering your depression, I will be in a position to create a therapy programme that will help you to change your thoughts, attitudes, and emotions. My aim is to help you to not only overcome the depression but to develop the personal qualities and attitudes of mind that you need to deal with every aspect of your life with a confident and constructive attitude.

PLEASE NOTE: I am no longer working as a therapist. However, I remain a student and supporter of BWRT - an excellent therapy with the power to help people to make personal changes swiftly and effectively. I am keeping this site live in order to help people to discover BWRT, and to share my thoughts and reflections about BWRT from time to time.
